Margaret Burke - Alexandra Burke

Margaret Burke currently resides in Boston, MA. She graduated from the University of North Texas in 2000 with a BA in Radio/TV/Film and a minor in political science. After a year in Austin as a camera operator and assistant editor, she moved to Tokyo, Japan, to teach English and travel. Margaret also took the opportunity to visit Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam.

In addition to a love of travel, Margaret has always been a photographer. She had a photography show in November 2004 at the Magnolia in Dallas and has been hired for weddings and portraits. She worked at a professional photo lab as the lab manager for four years doing digital restoration, until the lab went out of business after 30 years.

In all her years as a projectionist, teacher, and freelance videographer, Margaret has always loved writing. She has done several film critiques; some of her other writing can be viewed on Film Threat (for the Dazed and Confused 10 year reunion) and Escape Artist, regarding her decision to live in Japan.

She is currently attending law school.
